吉林艺术学院是东北地区唯一一所综合性高等艺术院校。学院前身萌发于1946年的东北大学鲁迅文艺学院，1978年更名为吉林艺术学院，1995年成为吉林省首批拥有省级重点学科的院校，2020年入选为吉林省特色高水平应用型建设高校。
Jilin University of Arts is the only comprehensive higher education institution for the arts in the Northeast China. The university originated from the Lu Xun Academy of Culture and Arts at Northeast University in 1946. In 1978, it was renamed Jilin University of Arts. In 1995, it became one of the first universities in Jilin Province to have provincial key disciplines. In 2020, it was selected as an outstanding high-level applied university in Jilin Province.
学院地处城市中心繁华地区，拥有自由、红旗、建设、松辉、繁荣五个校区，设有音乐学院、美术学院、设计学院、戏剧影视学院、舞蹈学院、新媒体学院、动漫学院、艺术教育学院、艺术管理学院、流行音乐学院、戏曲学院、马克思主义学院、公共基础部和附属中等专业学校等14个教学单位。现有教职员工823人，其中专任教师596人，副高级以上职称278人。吉林艺术学院秉承“博学、求真、至善、尽美”的校训。
Located in the vibrant city center, the college comprises five campuses: Ziyou, Hongqi, Jianshe, Songhui, and Fanrong. And the college consists of 14 academic units, including the School of Music, School of Fine Arts, School of Design, School of Stage and Screen Arts, School of Dance, School of New Media, School of Animation, School of Art Education, School of Art Management, School of Popular Music, School of Chinese Traditional Opera, School of Marxism, Department of General Education, and the Affiliated Secondary Specialized School. There are currently 823 teaching staff, including 596 full-time teachers, with 278 faculty members holding associate senior professional titles or above. Among them, three experts receive special allowances from the State Council, and two have been recognized as National Excellent Teachers. Today, Jilin University of Arts upholds the motto “Erudition, Truth, Goodness, and Beauty”.
一、申请条件Eligibility and Qualification
1.身体健康，持外国有效普通护照的非中国籍公民；未满18周岁的申请者需提供监护证明。报考者需符合教育部教外函〔2020〕12号文件规定。
Non-Chinese citizens in good health and holding valid foreign ordinary passports; applicants under 18 years of age must provide their guardians’ letter of guarantee. Applicants must comply with the provisions of the JWH [2020] No.12 Document of the Ministry of Education of the People’ s Republic of China.
2.申请攻读硕士学位者，应当为大学本科毕业、具有学士学位或具有同等学力。
Applicants applying for a Master degree program must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
3.语言要求：实践类专业要求HSK 4级180分及以上，理论类专业要求HSK6级180分以上（证书取得时间为2024年8月31日之后）。
Language Requirement: For HSK4 180 or above (certificate obtained after August 31, 2024).

四、申请程序Application Procedures
1.登录吉林艺术学院网上报名系统http://www.jlart.edu.cn, 完成线上申请;

请所有申请者选择“自费”选项，如成功申请到奖学金，国际合作与交流处会将学生类别改成相应的奖学金类别。
All applicants are requested to select the “ self-funded ” option when choosing the program, and if a scholarship is subsequently applied for, the School of International Education will categorize the students according to their scholarship types.
2.根据招生简章要求，通过电子邮件（international@jlart.edu.cn）提交申请材料。

Academic Transcripts (since the undergraduate stage): Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
4.本科毕业证书、学士学位证书扫描件，如未毕业可提供预计毕业证明或在学证明（须盖有校章）。
A scanned copy of undergraduate diploma and bachelor’s degree certificate, or certificate of enrollment if not yet graduated (must be stamped by the university).
5.两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写并签名。
Letters of recommendation from two professors or associate professors, written in Chinese or English with signature.
6.语言能力证明（HSK证书扫描件）。曾使用中文为教学语言获得中国高校学位的申请人提交本科毕业证书或在学证明。
Proof of language proficiency (HSK certificate). For applicants who have obtained a degree from a Chinese university using Chinese as the language of instruction, please upload your undergraduate diploma or certificate of enrollment.
7.身体检查证明：请下载《外国人体格检查表》，去当地正规医院完成检查并请医师用中文或英文完成该表格，同时加盖医院的公章(公章需部分盖印在本人照片上),有效期在体检之日起六个月内。
Physical examination record: please download the “Physical Examination Form for Foreigner”, go to a local hospital to complete the examination and ask the physician to complete the form in Chinese or English, and stamp the official seal of the hospital (the official seal must be partially stamped on the ID photo). The date of the examination must be within six months from the date of uploading.

六、注意事项Notes:
1.申请材料中涉及的各类表格、文书、证明等如为中文或英文以外文本，需附经公证的中文或英文翻译件。建议前往中华人民共和国驻所在国使(领)馆对上述材料及其翻译件进行公证。两页以上的表格、文本、证明等应当加盖骑缝章或者在每页上都加盖公章。
If the forms, documents, certificates, etc. involved in the application materials are in languages other than Chinese or English, they must be accompanied by their notarized Chinese or English translations. It is recommended that the above-mentioned documents and their translations be notarized at the embassy (consulate) of the People’ s Republic of China in the host country. Forms, texts, certificates, etc. of more than two pages should be stamped with a cross-page seal or have an official seal on each page.
2.申请者本人应确保所有信息（尤其是护照号码、护照姓名、性别、联系电话、住址等）准确无误，否则引起所有的录取问题责任自负。
Applicants should ensure that all information (especially passport number, passport name, gender, phone number, address, etc.) is accurate, otherwise they will be responsible for all subsequent problems.
3.申请者必须对所提交材料的真实性和完整性负责。申请材料不实、缺漏者，我校概不予受理。
Applicants must be responsible for the authenticity and completeness of the submitted documents. Incomplete or false applications will be rejected.
4.如有特殊情况，我校有权要求申请者邮寄原版纸质材料做进一步审核确认。不论最终录取与否，材料一律不予退还。
In special cases, we reserve the right to request applicants to send original paper documents for further review. All documents will not be returned, regardless of the final results.
5.初审通过的学生，我校会安排面试环节。请申请者务必每日查看报名系统的站内信、邮件，保持电话畅通。
For students who passed the initial review, we will arrange interviews. Please make sure to check the application system on a daily basis and keep your phone lines open.
七、录取选拔Selection and Admission
1.资格审查Qualification Review
我校将综合审查申请者的外籍身份、本科学历、学业成绩、HSK证书或英语水平证明、专业水平等。
Applicants’ status, bachelor, academic achievement, certificate of HSK or other English proficiency tests, professional level, etc. will be examined.
2.录取方式Admission Means
我校将根据申请者的资格审查及综合考核结果择优录取。由吉林艺术学院国际学生招生和奖学金评审领导小组全面审核申请者的专业成绩、HSK汉语水平考试成绩、高中成绩等，按专业成绩择优录取。学校将根据情况要求申请者提供补充材料或对申请者进行电话/视频面试。申请者可于6月下旬通过网上报名系统及国际合作与交流处网站查询录取结果。录取通知书和外国留学人员来华学习签证申请表将于7月陆续发出。未被录取者不再另行通知。
Applicants will be accepted on the basis of their qualifications and the results of the comprehensive assessment. The International Student Admission and Scholarship Review Leadership Team of the Jilin University of Arts willfully review the applicants’ professional performance, HSK Chinese Proficiency Test scores, high school grades, etc., and admit them according to their professional performance. Depending on the situation, we will ask applicants to provide additional materials or conduct telephone/video interviews. Applicants can check the admission results through the online application system and the website of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange in late June.Admission Letter and Visa Application Form for Studying in China will be sent out in July. Those who are not accepted will not be notified.
八、学制、学习年限及学位授予Duration of Study, Period of Study and Degree Award
硕士研究生专业学制：3年
Duration of the graduate program: 3 years
学习年限：3-5年
Period of study: 3-5 years
学生在规定的最长学习年限之内，修满教学计划规定的学分，完成毕业论文并顺利通过答辩，达到毕业要求的准予毕业，颁发硕士研究生毕业证书，符合硕士学位条件的授予硕士学位。
Students who complete the credits stipulated in the teaching plan, complete the thesis and pass the defense successfully, and meet the graduation requirements within the prescribed maximum study period will be granted graduation and issued a Master's Degree Graduate Certificate. Students who meet the requirements for a bachelor's degree will be awarded a master degree certificate.
九、留学费用Fees
1.学费(按学年收费，以人民币收取，不含教材费)

学术型专业：32,000元人民币/年；专业型专业：36,000元人民币/年，在每学年秋季学期开学报到时一次性缴纳。付款方式：人民币现金或中国的银行借记卡。学费在缴纳后一律不退。
Theoretical programs: RMB 32,000 per year.
Practical programs: RMB 36,000 per year.
A one-off payment should be made at the beginning of the fall semester of each academic year. Payment method: Pay by cash in RMB or a Chinese bank debit card. Tuition is non-refundable after payment.
注：以上学费标准若有调整，最终以物价部门核准的收费标准为准。
Note: In case of any adjustment of the above tuition rates, the final rates approved by the price department shall prevail.

十、违规处理Handling of Violations
申请者须对所填写和提交材料的真实性负责。新生入校后，我校将进行新生入学资格核查，凡不符合国际学生录取规定或弄虚作假者，我校将根据上级教育主管部门和学校相关规定和程序取消其入学资格。
Applicants are responsible for the authenticity of the materials they filled out and submitted. We will verify the admission qualifications of the new students once enrolled. If the applicants do not meet the admission regulations for international students or make false statements, we will cancel their admission qualifications according to the relevant regulations and procedures of the higher educational authorities and the university.
